It snarled at me as I walked in front of it. Its steely eyes seemed to steal the storm from the sky and aim it at me. For the sin of looking at it the wrong way. Or getting too close. It showed me its teeth. It's used them before and it wasn't afraid of using them again. Not on me. Not on anyone. It was just plain mean. If you got in its way, well, you shouldn't have. I wasn't afraid, but I kept a respectful distance. I knew it would bite me. It was my car.
